Non-Compliant Businesses

Retailers in Scott County who sell tobacco products are subject to regular compliance checks. The compliance checks are performed by local law enforcement officers on all businesses that have a license to sell tobacco products. Checks take place once a year unless a business is found to be non compliant. If a business sells tobacco to an underage teen during the check, a follow up check will be performed.
